Ex- Physician Accused of Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a former physician stands accused of carrying out assaults against thirty-eight individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous acts of sexual assault â some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen â between 2017 to 2021.
One senior CPS official stated, âLegal teams have diligently worked to assist a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.â
Scope of the Investigation
These allegations come after what police called a âcomplex investigationâ into reported assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

The charging documents outline the forty-five sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- One count of attempted penetrative assault.
